On May 6, 2019, the Foreign-Trade Zones Board published in the Federal Register a document stating that, pursuant to 15 C.F.R. 400.21(i), applications to the Foreign-Trade Zones Board henceforth should be submitted solely in electronic form via e-mail to ftz@trade.gov. The change is being undertaken to reduce the burden on applicants and to facilitate a full transition to an electronic application process.
