On 11 April 2014, the Boletín Oficial del Estado (the Official Gazette) published Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Directorate General of Trade and Investment Circular of April 3, 2014, on the procedure and processing of imports and arrivals of goods and their trade regimes (BOE-A-2014-3888).
The Circular, which supersedes the full text of Secretary of Foreign Trade Circular of 1 March 2010 (published in the Boletín Oficial del Estado on 10 March 2010), that has been used as a comprehensive guide for traders, updates references to agencies responsible for international trade, changes in the tariff and quotas, control of defense and dual use items, product safety, food products, as well as changes to the EU legislation implementing the Convention on the International Trade of Endangered Species in Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). |
