U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Valuation Encyclopedia (1980-2015). The 580 page Valuation Encyclopedia has topically arranged summaries of virtually all the Customs Valuation rulings issued by CBP (and its predecessor, the U.S. Customs Service) since the new value law went into effect. It also has judicial precedents, the texts of the WTO (GATT) Valuation Agreement, 19 U.S.C. 1401a and pertinent valuation regulations. In addition to an excellent Table of Contents, it has index tables of rulings, judicial precedents, Treasury Decisions and notices. Changes from the prior edition (1980-2010) are shown in red.
