On April 9, 2014, the Federal Register published Notice of April 7, 2014 – Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Somalia. The Notice continues for an additional year the national emergency originally declared in Executive Order 13536 of April 12, 2010, and subsequently extended and expanded, because the situation with respect to Somalia continues to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States. |
