On November 1, 2013, the Federal Register published Presidential Notice of October 30, 2013—Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Sudan. The Notice continues the national emergency originally declared in Executive Order 13067 of November 3, 1997, for an additional one year period because the actions and policies of the Government of Sudan continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States. |
