The Eurasian Economic Commission announced that on 14 April 2017, in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (VEES – Высшего Евразийского экономического совета ВЕЭС) with the participation of heads of states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
On 26 December 2016 members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) approved and signed the new Customs Code (EAEU Customs Code). There is only one exception – the Customs Code has not yet been signed by Belarus.
