The New Zealand Customs Service advises that on 1 August 2013, the fees applicable to the industry share of cost recovery for the Joint Border Management System (JBMS) will be implemented. The table below shows which fees will increase.

Note these new rates will apply to all transactions whether using the new or existing messages from 1 August 2013. The Import Entry Transaction Fee and the Biosecurity System Entry Levy charged on Inward Cargo Reports will not increase until the new Inward Cargo Report functionality is available in a later phase of the JBMS implementation.
