On May 15, 2018, the Federal Register published Presidential Notice of May 14, 2018- Continuation of the National Emergency With Respect to Yemen, which continues the national emergency originally declared on May 16, 2012, by Executive Order 13611, to deal with the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States constituted by the actions and policies of certain former members of the Government of Yemen and others that threaten Yemen’s peace, security, and stability.
