Junko Suetomi is a partner in Baker McKenzie Tokyo. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in the WTO Dispute Settlement Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Economic Bureau. She has also worked for a global law firm in Washington, DC and New York, and served as a court-appointed defense attorney in many criminal cases.
Ken Chia is a member of the Firmâs IP Tech, International Commercial & Trade and Competition Practice Groups.
Panya joined Baker McKenzie in 2002 and became a Partner in 2012. He is currently a partner in the Tax Practice Group. He is also active in the International Commercial & Trade Practice Group and practices in the customs and supply chain areas in particular.
Thanh Vinh Nguyen is a partner in the Ho Chi Minh City office of Baker McKenzie. Before joining the Firm, he practiced tax and consultancy work for two international accounting firms and worked as a compliance counsel for an international insurance company.
Adeline Wong heads the Tax, Trade and Wealth Management Practice Group of Wong & Partners and the Tax and Trade Practice Group of Baker McKenzie member firms in the Joint Asian Offices. She has over 30 years of experience in the area of corporate tax planning, advisory, audit and investigation work.
Ronald Bernas is a partner and head of Quisumbing Torresâ Tax Practice Group. He is a member of the Financial Institutions and Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Groups. He has 24 years of experience advising clients on various tax issues, including general tax planning, tax controversies, tax litigation, and customs issues and procedures.
