On March 5, 2019, the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) published in the Federal Register a notice of modification of action (investigation of China’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation) which states that, in accordance with the direction of the President, USTR has determined to modify the action being taken in this Section 301 investigation by postponing the date on which the rate of the additional duties will increase from 10 percent to 25 percent for the products of China covered by the September 2018 Action in this investigation (List 3). The rate of additional duty for the products covered by the September 2018 action will remain at 10 percent until further notice.
